8×8 Watch Drawing Commission – Black & White
$400.00 CAD + applicable taxes
I created these small-scale watch commissions as a more intimate and accessible way to own a custom piece of original artwork. Instead of focusing on the entire watch, these drawings concentrate only on the case and dial, the details that often carry the strongest personality and character of the timepiece itself.
The smaller 8″ × 8″ format changes the experience completely. It becomes less about scale and more about observation, paying attention to textures, reflections, engraved details, and the subtle design decisions that make each watch unique. Sometimes it’s a milestone watch. Sometimes it’s simply a piece you’ve worn long enough for it to become part of your story.
Making the Drawing Yours
Artwork Details
Each drawing is created by hand on 100% cotton watercolour paper with natural deckled edges, giving every piece a slightly organic and handmade feel. The artwork is done primarily in graphite, with only small touches of coloured pencil or ink used selectively to highlight certain details. The result remains mostly black and white, with subtle accents that quietly bring depth and contrast into the drawing.
You can choose between a black or white background depending on the mood and presentation you prefer.
Medium: Graphite with subtle coloured pencil or ink accents
Paper: 100% Cotton Watercolour Paper
Size: 8″ × 8″ (20 × 20 cm)
Each artwork is signed by me, and a certificate of authenticity is included with every original drawing.

A Closer Look
Some watches stay with us because of their design. Others because of the memories attached to them. These smaller commissions are meant to capture a bit of both, the craftsmanship of the watch itself and the personal connection built around it over time.
