A few Thoughts
Why Watches?
If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you know I have a thing for watches. But it’s not just about the watches themselves, it’s about the stories they tell. The tick-tock of time, the shine of a polished case, the texture of a leather strap… every detail sparks something in me. Drawing these pieces is my way of slowing down, zooming in, and appreciating the craftsmanship that often goes unnoticed.
Mostly Commissions
Most of the drawings you see here are commissions. I love working closely with collectors to capture the watches they treasure most, translating not just the look but the feel of these luxurious timepieces onto paper. It’s incredibly satisfying to create something so precise and personal, and to see someone’s eyes light up when they realize it’s not a photograph.
Other Subjects I Love
Watches are my main obsession, but I also explore other subjects. Portraits let me dive into the subtle expressions and emotions that make people who they are, and bloomscapes give me a chance to play with texture, light, and movement in nature. Each drawing, whether a watch, a face, or a flower, is about the same thing: noticing the small details and giving them the attention they deserve.
I’ve talked in interviews about my fascination with the quiet moments, the little things that often go unseen, and how graphite lets me explore them in a way that feels almost meditative. That curiosity is at the heart of everything you’ll find here.
So, take a look around. Zoom in on the details. If something catches your eye, don’t be shy, reach out. I’m always happy to chat about art, watches, or whatever else sparks curiosity.
