The moment the JLC Reverso Hybris Mechanica Calibre 185 was released, I knew I wanted to draw it. This drawing required far more research than most of my previous work. Very few detailed reference images existed at the time. So, the final composition was built using more than ten photographs alongside multiple videos just to properly understand the movement, reflections, textures, and lunar displays.
Releasing it as a limited edition giclée print felt like the natural next step. It allowed more collectors and watch enthusiasts to experience the scale, detail, and complexity of the original artwork in a more accessible format. This limited edition giclée print preserves much of the intricate detail, tonal depth, and layered atmosphere of the original drawing.
