8×8 Watch Drawing Commission – Colour
$550.00 CAD + applicable taxes
These colour watch drawing commissions are designed to capture the atmosphere and personality of a watch through layered colour, reflections, and fine mechanical detail. Certain watches almost demand colour, especially pieces where shifting tones, polished surfaces, patina, or dial textures become part of what makes the watch feel alive in person.
The smaller 8″ × 8″ format allows the drawing to focus closely on those details, isolating the case and dial almost like a portrait study. Rather than reproducing the entire watch, the goal becomes understanding the character of the piece itself through colour, contrast, reflections, and subtle transitions in light. Unlike the black and white commissions, these drawings lean much more heavily into colour. I layer coloured pencil and ink to build warmth, depth, and atmosphere while preserving the intricate mechanical details that give each watch its own identity.
