This drawing took a lot of planning before pencil ever touched the paper. The couple is seated on a motorcycle, and the bike became an essential part of the portrait, not just a prop, but an extension of their story. It was also the most complex element in the piece, filled with reflections, curves, and surfaces that demanded extra attention.

I must have drawn the whole scene in my head ten times before starting. Some pieces just need that kind of mental rehearsal. And while the portrait carries the softness and closeness of the moment, the motorcycle brings in a contrasting structure that made the whole process surprisingly fun.
