This drawing is part of a series of two. It features two Audemars Piguet Royal Oaks: a black ceramic and a stainless steel with diamonds. The composition highlights the interplay between the watches, emphasizing similarities, contrasts, and rhythm across dials, bezels, and bracelets.

The tapisserie dials demanded intense precision. Reflections, textures, and subtle variations were layered in graphite to capture depth and dimensionality. The striking black-and-white patterned background was designed so that, when placed next to the second drawing, it forms an intentional visual pattern. The brushed stainless steel texture is subtly echoed in the background, adding additional depth and cohesion across the diptych.
