The drawing pays tribute to the timeless elegance of Audemars Piguet designs from the 1950s. While the AP Disco Volante 5093 was available in a variety of styles during this era, I was particularly captivated by this model, which showcases the exquisite hobnail pattern, also known as ‘Clous de Paris.’

This drawing is part of an ongoing personal sketchbook project that features watches with unique cases. Most of the watches featured in this project are unique vintage pieces and appeal to my love for shapes and textures.
