Rolex Daytona
This drawing started as an experiment in contrast. I used two different Daytona models, one with a white dial and one with a black dial, and merged them into a single diagonal composition. Half of each watch comes together to form one piece, almost like a split identity: light and dark, minimal and bold.
What I enjoyed most was how the symmetry and differences play off one another. The Daytona is already an iconic design, but dividing it this way reveals things you don’t always notice when you see each watch on its own. The textures, the balance of the subdials, the way the markers catch the light, everything feels a bit sharper when the two halves meet.
